Our students, grades 9 through 12, have not excelled in the traditional high school setting and are behind in their Ohio core graduation requirements. That is where we come in, our ‘whole-student’ approach addresses outside barriers that may hinder a student’s success – inside and outside the classroom. Our family is a safety net for students who may have slipped through the cracks. Our goal is to ensure they successfully earn a high school diploma.

Change Your Course – Control Your Future
At ECA, students begin with an Individualized Graduation Plan that brings together teachers, parent(s) and/or guardians to create a higher learning path while advocating a 21st century learning environment. Our highly qualified teachers are able to accommodate the different learning styles of students and promote classroom cultures that encompass critical thinking, collaboration, communication as well as other skills that can be applied in the workforce, post-graduation.
Our partnership with Columbus State Community College allows students to earn college credit while working towards their high school diploma through the College Credit Plus program. We have teachers on staff that are certified to teach college-level courses which allows students to transition from the high school learning environment to the campus of college in a familiar and supporting environment.
